The year 2006 has allowed me a chance to explore two distinctly unique sceneries. In the hot and humid days of July, I was able to take in the great city of New York and all of its wonder with a photographer friend of mine (and brilliant website designer), Craig Klein. Walking from the Bowery up through to Midtown made for a fantastic day of just touching upon the myriad of stories that each street tells in New York. I look forward to see how the winter bundles up the City in late 2006/early 2007. As summer turned to fall, I took in another brilliant locale, known as Grounds for Sculpture located in Hamilton, New Jersey. The place is awe inspiring and quickly became one of my favorite "museums" on a beautifully sun-filled day. There is something very special at work when you can enjoy the arts with earth underfoot, and a cool wind in your hair. I can only hope my photos will help convince you of where to spend your next warm sunny day. |
